MEET PAUL & LARISSA
PAUL grew up as a Canadian/American TCK in Sri Lanka, India, and Egypt where his parents served as expat workers. After college he provided counseling care and cross-cultural support to TCKs for nine years in the USA before meeting his wife Larissa in Thailand. Recently he has been serving TCKs as school counselor at Hope International School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and since 2016 he has been the High School Counselor at Dalat International School in Penang, Malaysia.

LARISSA developed a heart for children overseas while growing up in the United States. After college she pastored children, taught 4th grade, and earned her masters' degree. In 2002 she arrived in Cambodia, doing teacher training for churches and schools in Cambodia as well as working with AIDS orphans and street children. She met Paul on the last day of a conference in Thailand - the "excursion day" - and Paul wooed her while elephant riding and "brown-water" rafting. They were married in the USA in 2005 and came back to Cambodia together. From 2007-2014 she founded and directed Sparrow's Nest Cambodia - a human trafficking prevention center.
